ArtLocal (version 4.2) is worthless. The app claims to give you a local map of any museum, art show or exhibit near you, but doesn’t actually work. Metropolitan areas such as Phoenix get no hits, and neither do the built in Toronto or New York maps. You’re better off using a local app like the Phoenix Art Museum Visitor Guide. Any A&E reporter looking for a way to watch the local art trends should go elsewhere, because ArtLocal seems to be an empty shell. — Chris McCrory
